| Following its privatisation, the operational rights of this port have been awarded to IPM Group for the next 30 years and continues its activities as DIKILI LIMAN VE TURİZM İŞLETMELERİ TİCARET A.Ş.
The operating building, customs and passanger lounge have been fully renewed and the port fully complies with ISPS standards. A team of security officers, computerized closed-circuit camera system and metal detectors ensure the security of the passangers round the clock during the summer season when cruise lines are frequently calling Port of Dikili.
The berth of the port has been extended to 180 m. lenght with a 15 m. width; with a sea draft of 9-10.5 m., cargo vessels of upto 16.000 DWAT can be easily berthed and taken under operation. The loading and discharging operations of bulk, bagged and palletized cargo are arranged with 1 wheel and 2 palletized SENNEBOGEN 835 shorecranes of 70 mt/h capacity with a daily rate of 3000 Mt. The port is handling cargoes with an annual capacity of 1.000.000 mt.
DIKILI LİMAN VE TURIZM İŞLETMELERİ A.Ş owns as well a covered storage areas as well as bounded warehouses of 21.500 m2 with further open stock area of 12.500 m2, located at a distance of 4 km from the port where it provides import/export operational and storage services. Services for bagging bulk cargo with an automatic packing machines are also provided. 1 Volvo L25P loader, 1 Kawasaki Loader, 1 Manitou telescopic loader and 2 forklifts are available to service in the storage area.
IPM GROUP’s raw perlite ore is loaded in bulk and the crushed/screened perlite ore is loaded in big bags as well as in bulk.
