Diperlit Mining Industry and trade inc

DIPERLIT Mining Industry And Trade S.A.. is established in 1999 and is currently producing about 200.000 mt of crushed /screened perlite ore in its 12.000 m2 plant located on a 35.000 m2 area in Izmir -Bergama region. The plant, designed with high American technology, is producing high and constant quality of material due to its system of separating waste material by gravity method and to its dust collector units.

Besides cryogenic grade perlite ore used in LNG and ColdBox projects, the plant is also producing crushed/screened perlite ore in large volumes suitable for construction, horticulture, foundry and filteraid markets.

During 2011 – 2012, has completely renewed its processing equipment, multi-frequency screens, air separators and automatic packaging systems. On same time, anticipating the growth of the micronized perlite market on short-medium term basis, Diperlit invested on new crushing systems and air separators which are necessary for the production of fine grades such as 0.10 – 0.30 mm, 0.10 – 0.40 mm, 0.20 – 0.50 mm, 0.30 – 0.60 mm. Another purpose of these investment was to meet the requirements of the new technology which is currently developping fastly worldwide  “closed cell” perlite produced in electrical furnaces.

The Company’s operational process is conducted in conformity with at ISO 9001 standards.
After the production, in order to protect the finished product from the environmental humidity and pollution, the goods are immediately packed with an accurate weighing system, either in big bags of upto 1300 kgs each or in bags of 25 – 50 kgs each, depending on the customer’s requirements, and stored in a closed warehouse.

Significant investments were made in our lab system in order to give a high quality service to our customers. Qualified laboratorians and chemists are periodically carrying out combined moisture and humidity tests as well as sieve analysis, mechanical resistance tests, lab expansion tests and all other requested analysis in accordance with PI and ASTM standards.

All the Company’s exports either in bulk or in big bags, ranging between 3000 - 25000 DWCC, are organized from Port of Dikili, located at 42 km distance from our facilities and operated by IPM Group. 20’ container shipments are arranged from Izmir and Aliaga ports and delivered worldwide, either directly or with minimum transhipment.
